The simplicity collection is an initiative of the Superior general, Mother Maria do Socorro Fortes.
Born from the idea to make Known the Sisters of the Poor who lived in an authentic
witness of love. A love that turns out to be completely offered to the Lord through a simple life lived in acts of service to the poorest and most needy brothers and sisters.

The first three issues of this collection has come out simultaneously with the event:  feast of the Mother. Every year, this important appointment gathers a lot of sisters together around  the one who is at the centre of our religious family. Therefore, this feast becomes our feast. A strong moment where we can meet, share and strengthen the sense of belongingness and fraternal communion.

On this important day, on July 23, at our General House  we made a touching memory of: Anna Virginia Saltini, Giacinta Romboli and Tecla Doro. Three sisters that lived deeply, with different gifts and modalities, the charism handed down to us by our Mother Savina Petrilli.

This important day was characterized by a joyfull pilgrimage. A journey undertaken on the footsteps of the three witnesses.

Seed fell on the ground, a short story, will be the climax of this pilgrimage. Before the end of this beautiful day,  Mother Fortes, after giving her thanks, made us a gift: "Semplicità" (simplicity) a song composed for this occasion.
